The Archives can be accessed at the bottom of this page. HEADWATERS CHAPTER 12, MARCH 3rd, 2010 Minutes:………………….. Motion to approve the February minutes was tabled. Treasurers Report……….. Treasurer Rick Janick gave the following report Starting Balance…………$11,962.61 Income……………..…...$ 2,461.00 Expenses…………...…...$ 7,399.57 Balance…………………$ 7,024.04 Note. There is still $2,312.70 at the First National Bank. R.V.P Report……………..President Bill Jacobs and Art Anderson brought up items from the meeting regarding reorganization. Also, at this time no budget was presented from M.I. Talked about the 54 inch size limit on The DNR was at this meeting and gave a great presentation. Paid salary of M.I. was discussed. MEMBERSHIP……………Jim Chamberlin advised 427 members with 1 new; present membership stands at 428. FISH REPORT……………. Dale Peterson advised that 10 members caught muskies 50 inches or greater. We registered 1122 muskies. We are in second place to advised that if all fish caught were registered we would have been in first place. A detailed article will be in the next Headwaters Newsletter. DOCKS & LANDINGS……Bob Jacobs advised that all is still frozen in. YOUTH COMMITTEE…... Art advised all is going well with upcoming outings. NEWSLETTER…………… Paul Hansen advised that Paul and Jennifer will not be doing the Newsletter. There was a problem with the disc newsletter so publication will be delayed. CORRESPONDENCE…….None. BANQUET REPORT……...Joe Koschnik held a banquet meeting earlier this evening. All is going well and on schedule. Any door prizes and info on them should be turned in. SPRING CLASSIC………...Jim Heffner advised that he has a list of 800 fisherman that applications will be going out to on April 1st. Art Anderson is handling the Fall Tournament and applications will be going out June 15th, 2010. SPRING SPORT SHOW…. Dale Peterson advised no changes since last meeting. Paul Hansen is working on the seminars. Extensive advertising will be run. SCHOLARSHIP……………John Schmidt advised that Ben Gissinger is our recipient and well deserved. The Steven Bassler Sr. scholarship will be awarded April 1st. CHAPTER CHALLENGE…Dale Peterson advised we have our accommodations and we have 16 members signed up for the Gil Hamm Challenge. Jerry Hollnagel is heading up the Kleeba Challenge MEMBERSHIP MEETING.Our next regular meeting will be April 7th at 6 p.m. This is one hour earlier as the DNR meeting will start at 7pm.
